We have joined The Long Ride as avid motorcycle riders from Kokoda Barracks (and nearby) who want to make a difference. We are inspired by the work that the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia do and want to raise money for them as part of our participation in The Long Ride 2014. Please help by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button.
In late September through to mid October, we will ride from Kokoda Barracks (SE QLD), down through NSW, through VIC, through SA and finally into NT to finish at Uluru. Along the way we will be meeting up with other Long Riders from the others states and joining up as a large contingent. This epic ride will be done over seven days, covering approximately 3,700km. After a party and a rest day at Uluru (our bums will need the rest), we will then turn around and come home, probably via a different route (TBA). In all, this trip is likely to be well over 7000km. We are hoping for smooth riding, no break downs, some incredible sights, and plenty of updates/photos for you as sponsors. If you happen to be along the route, we’d love stop by and see you (perhaps briefly!). All your sponsorship goes straight to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia with all riding costs (fuel, accommodation, meals etc) covered by the riders themselves.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
Nic, Mel, Jason and Stuart.
